Get Help
Who we help.
Our clients generally fall into one of two categories:
1) people who work in the national security sphere who need help with employment-related issues; or
2) people who are attempting to shed light on what our government is getting up to in the name of national security.
Despite the apparent narrowness of these categories, there are a lot of possible issues our clients have to deal with, and we are here to help them navigate those obstacles to accomplish their goals. A non-exclusive list of problems we have handled includes:
Security clearance issues, whether you’re about to apply for one or have had it revoked or denied
Employment discrimination, which can take radically different forms in the Intelligence Community
Prepublication review of materials you want to write or say but can’t without permission due to a non-disclosure agreement
Whistleblowing and whistleblower retaliation, which also looks very different for national security personnel
Seeking declassification of information you believe to be improperly classified
Obtaining unclassified information through the Freedom of Information Act and Privacy Act
Obtaining legislative and judicial records, which are not subject to FOIA
Litigating cases involving classified information
And much much more!
So if you’re facing an issue like one of the above and you think you might need help, drop us a line and we’ll see if we can help. If you think you’ve got it in hand on your own, feel free to peruse our resources pages (currently being built out) for material you might be able to use, and good luck!
